1. Platform Description
eCounty provides digital access to county-related services, including applications, payments, tracking, and revenue collection support.
2. Not an Official Government Platform
eCounty is not owned, operated, or officially endorsed by a government entity unless expressly stated for a specific deployment.
3. User Responsibilities
Users agree to:
- Provide accurate and truthful information
- Use the platform lawfully
- Avoid misuse, fraud, or disruption of the service
4. Applications
Submission of an application does not guarantee approval. Decisions are made by the relevant county or service authority.
5. Payments
- Payments may be processed through third-party providers such as M-Pesa, Airtel, or bank channels
- Delays or interruptions may occur through third-party systems
- Fees may be non-refundable unless otherwise stated
6. Limitation of Liability
eCounty is not liable for:
- Delays in approvals
- Errors caused by incorrect user input
- Third-party payment interruptions
- Temporary service outages
7. Service Availability
Services may be updated, modified, suspended, or discontinued without prior notice where necessary.
8. Data Usage
Use of the platform is also governed by the Privacy Policy.
9. Termination
Accounts or access may be suspended or terminated where terms are violated or misuse is detected.
10. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of Kenya.
